Kiroro Snow World in Hokkaido Japan lays claim to some of the deepest powder in the world with 800 inches of fresh snow annually. Developed in 1991, Kiroro is gleaming with top-notch lifts, hotels, and facilities. The resort offers 1,200 acres of in-bound terrain with 23 runs and an equal mix of green, blue and off-piste trails. Of the ten lifts, one is a toasty gondola while the other five are high-speed, detachable chairs with cozy hoods. In 2016 they upped the ante with access to 2,600 more acres of backcountry terrain and 14 off-piste areas with designated entry for tree-run lovers.
