Snow King Mountain Resort

Established in 1936 Snow King is Jackson Hole’s original ski area and the first in Wyoming. Locals sometimes refer to Snow King as “The Town Hill,” with skiing, hiking, North America’s Steepest Zip Line, and many other attractions. There’s nothing “residential” about this mountain though. Snow King offers 1,571ft of vertical with plenty of upper-level terrain and great new beginner-intermediate terrain introduced in 2022.  With the new Snow King Gondola, guests can travel up the hill in just a few minutes to enjoy amazing views and all the awesome skiing and boarding terrain the King has to offer. Their average operating season is December through late March. If you’re not hitting the slopes, Snow King offers terrific activities like the Cowboy Coaster and Tubing for those who just want to play in the snow.
